MEMO Stampi's work begins in the design phase, when the client's requirements must be put down on paper and given an initial shape. Rapid prototyping is useful for this purpose. Thanks to 3D printing, it allows for flexible, rapid production of a sample of the piece to be produced, reducing costs and errors.

3D resin printing
MEMO Stampi uses high-resolution printing tools, 0.027mm precision, and utilizes resin, an excellent material for electrofusion, and cold/hot silicone rubbers. Furthermore, the models produced are workable even after printing.

Printing procedure
The 3D design and prototyping process, with the related printing phase, involves some fundamental steps:
- it is important to have a dimensioned drawing of what you want to produce;
- the object must be drawn with any 3D CAD so that it is a closed object with a volume (do not leave unconnected surfaces or open volume edges);
- you need to save the drawing in an STL format with the recommended parameters;
- possible correction of the STL file using specific programs that analyze surfaces, vertices and accidental holes;
- STL model printing;
- resin cleaning;
- casting, rubberizing and painting of the resin.
